The Farm House Restaurant is the perfect location for private parties, weddings and receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate banquets, birthday celebrations, or family picnics. Located in Olema, at the Gateway to the Point Reyes National Seashore, the Farm House and the adjoining Point Reyes Seashore Lodge offer several locations to accommodate your event. We have facilities for both indoor and outdoor dining.

The Park Room, surrounded by windows overlooking Redwood trees, the Olema Creek and our Clemente Gardens, can seat up to 40 guests. Enjoy a glowing fire in the fireplace while your guests watch the sunset over the Olema Ridge.

The Clemente Garden is a beautiful setting for any occasion. Located outdoors underneath majestic Redwood trees near the Olema Creek, this setting features colorful flower beds, lush lawns, a bubbling stone fountain, and an outdoor bar. For parties up to 100 guests, this is an ideal location for a wedding and reception or rehearsal dinner.

 
 
The bar and restaurant offer a large variety of menu options to customize for your specific needs. Included in this packet are our standard special event banquet menus. However, should you require something special or something specific from our regular menu, our kitchen will gladly work with you to create a special tailored menu just for your event. Prices may fluctuate based on seasonal changes for fresh fish, produce and meats. Once contracted prices quoted will be honored.
We offer a variety of options for the bar services that you may require:
  1. Full Host Bar – The hosts have an open and unlimited bar tab for their guests. The total will be added to the bill after the event with an 20% gratuity added.
  2. Limited Host Bar – A pre-set limit is determined by the hosts for bar services. Once that limit is reached, the hosts will be informed that the tab has reached its limit and your guests will be responsible for additional drinks. The hosts’ portion of the bar total will be added to the final bill with an 20% gratuity added.
  3. No Host Bar – Your guests pay for their own cocktails.
  4. Beer and Wine Only – You may host beer and wine and have your guests pay for their own cocktails.
  5. Non alcoholic beverages must be offered to your guests.
  6. Corkage – The Farm House charges a $12 corkage fee per bottle of wine. It may be a better value for you to order your wine directly from the Farm House wine list. If you do not see what you’re looking for on our list, just ask and we’ll be happy to order it for you.
The Farm House will gladly order any special colored linens and decorations that you may want for your function. For example, you may wish to order items such as dance floors, heaters, tents, market umbrellas, or coat racks. There will be a standard delivery fee and a 15% handling fee on all rental items added to the final invoice.

During the summer months, the Clemente Garden can accommodate up to 100 people for your wedding and reception. The facility fee for the wedding and reception is $1,000 for events between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Event insurance is required and all music must be acoustic. The facility fee includes:

  • Exclusive use of the Clemente Gardens and patio
  • Wedding chairs
  • Reception tables and chairs
  • Private outdoor bar service
  • Food servers
  • Cake cutting service
  • White cotton tablecloths and your choice of colored napkins
  • Tableware

In cooler winter and spring months, the private Park Room with garden views is ideal for smaller weddings up to 40 people for a fee of $1,500 for events ending by 10:00 p.m.

For Banquets: The Farm House requires a 25% deposit of the facility fee to guarantee your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable if the event is cancelled and if we are unable to re-sell the date for another event. The deposit will be applied to the final bill on the day of the event.
For Weddings: The Farm House requires a 50% deposit of the facility fee to guarantee your reservation with the balance due three months prior to the date of the event. Both payments are non-refundable.

In order for us to provide the best service for your guests, we require a confirmation of your menu two weeks prior to the event and there is a 48-hour guarantee on the number of guests attending. Final food and beverage charges will be based on client's final guest count or the number of guests attending, whichever is higher.

The Farm House maintains an exclusive arrangement with the neighboring Point Reyes Seashore Lodge for lodging for patrons of the Farm House Restaurant.
